Our show "Hassan Aga's Wife" the 15th of april is played with English subtitles!
A Serbian classic text, a ballad which is translated even by Goethe to German, a traditional story with a very contemporary touch - one of the longest running shows of the last years of Novi Sad Theatre. The show analyses the place and the role of women in the traditional, military-based society of the Balkans, with a highly awarded Márta Béres in the main role.
The show is awarded on the Serbian national festival Sterija as the best show of the year 2018, with the award of the best dramaturgy, best music and the best actress in the main role.
